Trakm8 Secure offers e-mail and on screen alerts to highlight when things are out of the ordinary:

• Shield breach feature – when your machinery moves, you’ll will be the first to know
• Point of Interest alert – Set a geographical area and be alerted when the machines moves outside or inside it
• Tremble alerts – be alerted when the tracking device is being removed from the machinery or the asset being loaded onto a trailer to be stolen
• Powerloss alert – if power to the tracker is cut you will find out
• Heartbeat alert – even if the vehicle has not been switched on, it will send an alert once a day to say where it is. Particularly useful for HGV trailers and plant equipment
• Alarm mode reporting – initiated when any of the alerts are activated. Vehicles can be watched on screen with regular updates which will continue until the cause of the alarm is verified and cleared

Trakm8’s innovative technology allows remote immobilisation of vehicles over the air. Users can lockdown a vehicle if it is being used in an unauthorised way, outside of normal working hours or worst case; is thought to be stolen. The vehicle and driver’s safety is paramount to Trakm8, if the vehicle is moving when it is immobilised, the vehicle will not restart once the ignition has been switched off.

• Theft attempts – if the vehicle is moved in the absence of an authorised driver tag an alert is sent to you
• Running hours to date reporting helps you keep track of when then vehicle is actually being used to help out of hours or hire agreement use of machinery
• Servicing reminders set by running hours or mileage
• Tiered access - hire customers can track the hired vehicle which is in their interest as they will have had to insure the vehicle. This offers competitive advantage for hire companies.
• Battery back up – spare batteries are placed within the tracking unit to give constant use even if the unit is disconnected from the car.
